SPACE, SIZE AND ROOM CONSIDERATIONS:

Graphic Facilitation has very particular space requirements. The biggest consideration is wall space. Plenty of flat, smooth wall space, at standing height and within hearing and seeing distance of the participants is needed.

Sometimes temporary walls can be constructed … using some sort of 4’x8’ flat surface (foam core sheets, paneling, whiteboards, etc.) on easels.

Flat Smooth Walls at Standing Height
Graphic Facilitation Requires Lots Of Wall Space

Its best to keep the wall space needs in mind when booking space for an event that you’d like to have graphically facilitated. Lots of flat, smooth wall space within seeing and hearing distance is crucial! This technique requires a room that is often much larger than what is needed for a traditional meeting (enough room to comfortable generate and display lots of wall size charts).
